Chiropractic Care Built Around You

Chiropractic care focuses on the musculoskeletal system, including the spine, joints, muscles and surrounding tissues.

Rather than using the same adjustment or treatment plan for every patient, we start by understanding what's bothering you, how you move and what you want to get back to doing.

Patients commonly visit us for:

  • Back and neck discomfort

  • Joint pain and stiffness

  • Headaches associated with neck tension

  • Sciatica and nerve-related discomfort

  • Sports and overuse injuries

  • Muscle tension

  • Posture and mobility concerns

  • Recovery after accidents or injuries

  • Foot and lower-extremity concerns

  • Ongoing musculoskeletal wellness

More Than a Quick Adjustment

Our chiropractic follow-up appointments are typically 30 minutes, giving us time to do more than simply adjust the spine. Depending on your needs, your visit may also include soft-tissue and structural work such as Graston Technique, dry needling, mobility work, and other targeted therapies.

This longer appointment format allows us to address both joint function and the surrounding muscles and connective tissue, creating a more comprehensive and individualized approach to chiropractic care. These services may include:

  • A woman sitting on a bed, holding her stomach with both hands, appearing to be in pain or discomfort.

    Chiropractic Adjustments

Individualized techniques designed to improve joint mobility and support comfortable movement.

  • A woman sitting on a bed, holding a glass of water and smiling with her eyes closed, in a bright bedroom with pillows and a plant in the background.

    Soft Tissue Therapy

Hands-on and instrument-assisted techniques may be used to address muscle tension and restricted soft tissue.

  • A woman with curly hair sitting at a desk with her head in her hands, looking stressed. Two other people are also at the desk, one working on a laptop and another with their hand on their forehead. In the background, a woman in a black blazer is holding papers and standing.

    Dry Needling

Dr. Barter and Dr. Chetty may incorporate dry needling when appropriate to address areas of muscular tension and discomfort.

  • Close-up of a healthcare worker wearing blue gloves testing blood sugar with a blood glucose meter, showing a reading of 105 mg/dL.

    Applied Kinesiology

Muscle testing may be incorporated by Dr. Barter as one part of evaluating movement, muscle function and potential areas of imbalance.

  • Three women sitting on yoga mats in a circle having a conversation in a room.

    Scar Tissue & Injury Recovery

Treatment may include Graston Technique/Gua Sha, soft-tissue work, movement recommendations, and complementary therapies to support recovery from scar tissue, previous injuries, or surgery.

  • Older woman with short gray hair and glasses practicing yoga outdoors, smiling, with a man in the background in a similar pose.

    Frequency Specific Microcurrent

FSM may be incorporated alongside chiropractic care when appropriate. Click here to learn more about FSM.

What to Expect

Your first appointment includes time to discuss your symptoms, health history, previous injuries and goals. Your provider will evaluate the areas causing concern and discuss which treatment approaches may be appropriate.

Because every patient is different, the techniques used and frequency of care will depend on your individual needs and how you respond to treatment.
